We are delighted to invite you to this year's Joint Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery (SSNS) and the Swiss Society of Neuroradiology (SSNR) in Interlaken. We also welcome the Association of neurosurgical nursing staff Switzerland. The Academy consists of 3 conferences which are spread over a three-year period. Each of the three-day conferences (from Thursday until Saturday) focuses on one specific topic and provides the participants with advanced training and education. The «SNS Academy» is directed to assistants in Neurology and the workshops are also excellent refreshers for specialists, who are warmly invited to join. This year's conference will focus on “Neurosciences beyond synapses: connecting minds, advancing knowledge” - a truly hot topic given recent breakthroughs in brain-computer interfaces, the gut-brain axis, and innovative neurostimulation techniques, which are shaping a deeper understanding of humankind's most important organ and offering promising avenues for therapeutic interventions.
