Membership

One of the main benefits of becoming a SAYN member is to be able to connect and interact with other neurology trainees across Switzerland. The exchange of ideas, experiences and skills across language borders aims to facilitate further personal and professional growth. Furthermore, SAYN members receive regular updates on important topics and changes, particularly with respect to neurology training.

  • Neurology board exam (FMH) fee (CHF 1,500 instead of CHF 2,250), active member for at least two years (and SAYN membership fee paid).

Membership requirements

All neurology trainees working in Switzerland and all medical trainees who aim for a board certification in Neurology in Switzerland (FMH) are eligible for a SAYN membership, regardless of age. The Young Neurologists membership expires upon discontinuation of the neurological training and is automatically converted into a full membership at the latest 12 months after the award of the neurological specialist title. Young Neurologistsn are entitled to vote at the General Assembly.


Membership application

Submit a completed membership application form, which needs to be co-signed by the applicant`s Head of the Department. Applicants are also required to submit their short CV together with the completed application form.

The annual membership fee is CHF 100.
