Swiss Muscle Society is a non-profit organization that represents the interests and concerns of people with a neuromuscular disease living in Switzerland.

Association against neuro-muscular diseases (ASRIMM)
Association against neuro-muscular diseases (Association Suisse Romande Intervenant contre les Maladies neuro-Musicales – ASRIMM), founded in 1977.
Comment: ASRIMM works with people who are affected by neuromuscular disorders and offers support to both them and their families. It is also involved in education and research support. Can be recommended to patients suffering from neuromuscular diseases, as well as their relatives.
ALS Switzerland
ALS Switzerland is a non-profit organisation, founded in 2007. The organisation supports and accompanies those affected by ALS and their relatives.
Comment: An annual congress promotes exchange among members. It offers possibilities of membership and donation and is involved in education and research support.
Associazione “Malattie genetiche rare”
Local organisation in the Ticino focussing on rare genetical disorders.
Comment: Provides information and support for patients with rare diseases (especially genetic and neuromuscular disorders).
Treat NMD
Professional society of clinicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals interested in neuromuscular disorders, who ensure that the most promising new therapies reach patients as quickly as possible. Founded in 2007.
Comment: Offers information on different centers, learning opportunities, workshops, international congresses, and networking possibilities with other neurologists.
