SFNCS Swiss Brain Health Plan (SBHP)
The SFCNS Swiss Brain Health Plan (SBHP) is a national initiative of the Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies (SFCNS) dedicated to promoting brain health in Switzerland. Its goal is to sustainably strengthen prevention, research, healthcare, and public awareness in the field of neurological diseases.
For the Swiss Neurological Society (SNS), Brain Health is a key future-oriented topic at the intersection of neurology, prevention, and public health. The SNS is therefore actively involved in the Swiss Brain Health Plan and contributes its neurological expertise at a strategic level.
The SNS is represented on the Board Committee and the Extended Board Committee by:
- Prof. Dr. med. Susanne Wegener, MD, Neurology, Zurich (Board Committee)
- Prof. Dr. med. Urs Fischer, MD, Neurology, Bern (Extended Board Committee)
- Prof. Dr. med. Renaud Du Pasquier, MD, Neurology, Lausanne (Extended Board Committee)
In addition, the SNS supports various projects and initiatives related to brain health and is committed to strengthening the role of Brain Health both within the professional community and among the general public.
Through modern communication and continuing education formats, the SNS positions itself as an active contributor to the future development of neurology.
