ZHAW Health Sciences is expanding its continuing education portfolio with the new module “Neuro-Skills advanced”.
The seven-day programme covers a range of topics, including epilepsy, stroke and neuroimmunology, movement disorders and neurosurgery, as well as headaches. A particular focus is placed on the practical application of knowledge in clinical and outpatient settings. This includes taking a neurological history and performing neurological examinations, using scores and diagnostic tests, and recognising red flags.
Target group
The module is aimed at qualified healthcare professionals with a Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences (FH), a postgraduate diploma (NDS), or a degree from a College of Higher Vocational Education (HF), for example in nursing, Advanced Practice Nursing (APN), occupational therapy or physiotherapy.
The continuing education programme is offered in cooperation with the Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies (SFCNS).
