The focus is on two SNS research fellowships of CHF 25,000 each (with matching funds), which are intended to support young doctors at the end of their further training in realising scientific work in the field of neuroscience.
In addition, the SNS awards two prizes of CHF 5,000 each for outstanding scientific work in clinical research and in applied basic and translational research in the field of neurology.
A further highlight is the Mogens and Wilhelm Ellermann Foundation Prize of CHF 20,000, awarded for the 20th time, as well as two junior research prizes from this foundation (CHF 5,000 each) for young researchers.
The submission deadline for all prizes and research fellowship is 22 June 2026.
