As part of a one-month exchange at a host institution, scholarship holders gain valuable insights into other specialist disciplines and foster collaboration across disciplinary and language boundaries.
Applications are open to doctors in the final stages of their specialist training or within the first three years of completing it. The scholarship comprises CHF 6,500 to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses.
Selection is based on the quality of the training programme, its interdisciplinary relevance, the applicant’s academic achievements to date, and the quality of the host and home institutions. Applications for exchanges between Switzerland’s different language regions will be given special consideration.
The deadline for applications is 31 July 2026.
