Today is all about the importance of sleep!

Today, on March 15 2024, we commemorate World Sleep Day under the slogan: "Sleep Equity for Global Health". World Sleep Day is an internationally recognized event that builds connections and raises sleep health awareness among researchers, health care workers, patients, and the public. 

Sleep is an essential function that allows the body and mind to recharge, leaving us refreshed and alert when we wake up. Without enough sleep, the brain cannot function properly. This can impair our ability to concentrate, think clearly, and process memories.

Sleep plays an integral role in health.  A good night’s sleep empowers the body to recover and lets you wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day!
