The SNS Society would like to thank the outgoing President, Prof. Dr. med. Peter Sandor, for his outstanding leadership, his great commitment and his contribution to the positive development of the specialist society. Prof. Dr. med. Urs Fischer will continue to drive forward the strategic goals of the specialist society as the new president of the SNS.
Prof. Dr. Hans Heinrich Jung was dismissed from the Board after 12 years of service and warmly thanked for his great and valued commitment. Other changes include Prof. Dr. med. Caroline Pot from French-speaking Switzerland, who was elected as the new SNS Vice President, and Dr. med. Patricia Iwanowski, who was elected as the new Treasurer. Prof. Alexander Tarnutzer, MD, was elected as a new member of the Board of Directors. At the same time, the existing Board members were confirmed in their positions.
