• Master challenges surrounding Botulinumtoxin type A use in PSS

• Gain knowledge and confidene in treatment planning and dosage

• Evaluate spastic patients via neuroorthopedic examination

• Learn how to measure and manage spasticity and its consequences

• Study evaluation techniques, including dynamic EMG and motor nerve blocks

• Define ptterns of spasticity with involved muscles and discuss therapeutic approaches

• Exchange experiences with peers

The anatomical workshops are targeted at those of you who are looking for an advanced immersion and refresher of the functional anatomy and ultrasound-guided injection techniques of dystonic patients.

Der Ultraschallkurs Neurocritical Care richtet sich an Ärztinnen und Ärzte aus den Fachgebieten Neurologie, Neurochiurgie, Intensivmedizin, Anästhesie, und Notfallmedizin zur raschen Beurteilung neurologischer Komplikationen wie Hirndruck oder Vasospasmen. Neben der Vermittlung der wichtigsten theoretischen Grundlagen liegt der Schwerpunkt des Kurses in der praktischen Anwendung. Das Hans-On findet in Kleingruppen von max. 4 Personen an Probanden und Patient:innen pro Tutor statt.

Dieser Halbtageskurs bietet eine Übersicht der Diagnostizierung und Behandlung der vier häufigsten neurodegenerativen Krankheiten in Palliative Care. Es werden vier Exkursen von Experten zu den folgenden Themen gemacht: Demenz und Alzheimer (Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Nyffeler), Parkinson (Herr Prof. Dr. med Stephan Bohlhalter), amyotrophische Lateralsklerose (ALS) (Herr Prof. Dr. med. Einar Wilder-Smith) und multiple Sklerose (MS) (Prof. Dr. med. Christian Kamm).
